Some important dates in the history of Armentarola:

1949: An annexe is built
1964: Addition of tennis court and riding stable
1968: An indoor swimming pool with a sauna and a solarium are built

Franz Wieser grew up in the hotel. When in 1971, he married Waltraud, and together, they took it over from his parents, running it came as second nature to him. And, for Waltraud, the Albergo Armentarola has been a lasting passion. It is here that Franz and Waltraud have raised their children, Sabine, Gabi and Toni who now also work in the hotel.

Half a century has passed. Three generations of the family have transformed the simple Albergo into an excellent four star hotel with their pioneering spirit, courage and vision. Armentarola combines the advantages of an exclusive hotel with the charm and friendliness of a family enterprise.

We know our guests and our guests know us. From year to year, they return – and we look forward to welcoming them as friends.
